Culture Minister has a look-see at Mash camps

CULTURE Minister Dr.Frank Anthony yesterday visited several Mash camps and had a look at costumes which will be on show at today’s grand parade. Mashramani 2012 is being staged under the theme “Mashin with pride, keepin we traditions alive” and as such the bands that have created their designs in keeping with that theme.
Digicel Guyana costumes will be showcasing a representation of ‘Reflection’ with 150 revellers and a king and queen,
The Public Service Ministry will be presenting ‘Eldorado, City of Gold’, a 50-strong band.
Derrick Moore, popular designer, had the responsibility of putting together the pieces for five Mash bands; these include bands for the Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Housing and Water, the Public Service Ministry, the Ministry of Labour.
