Very educational magazine

ONE of the most educational annual magazines promoting Guyana’s Eco Tourism has again lived up to expectations. I make reference to “Thag’s” annual “Explore Guyana” publication 2012, The call of the wild. First and foremost, the cover design is just super great to look at.
Ian Craddock, Michelle J Chan, and John Gimlette’s contributions, along with images were well received. Godfrey Chin’s contribution on “Trains and Railways” was a good shocker and I never thought that anyone would ever consider highlighting that aspect of Guyana’s History. Well done, Godfrey!
Ruth Ann Lynch’s contribution “Travelling Overland” was the one that brought back instant memories to me during my overland trip to Lethem and Brazil a few years ago. The Image of the Intraserv Bus was a great reminder and I honestly believe that I will be downing tools before the end of this year, and once again head out to Region 9.
David Martins’ contribution, “The Mangrove Reserve” was inspiring and I hope the public at large would digest the importance of the project/venture. It’s one to benefit the entire country.
I was really overjoyed to once again view an image of Diane McTurk.
I must add a thank you to all the sponsors, advertisers and everyone else who have made some contribution for the success of this annual publication. Great job and keep making me proud.
