PUSH cart carrier Mukesh Jagnarine (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, charged with simple larceny. He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which said, on January 5, he stole goods valued $14,060, property of Romel Burnett.
The defendant told the Court that he would usually work for the virtual complainant but, by mistake, left the merchandise at another place.
Jagnarine was put on $10,000 bail until January 16.
