THE Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) located at Bush Lot Corentyne, Berbice has released its dates for their list of horse racing events this year, starting with their Phagwah Race Meeting which is set for Sunday 11th March. Other events slated for the year include the post-Independence (May 20th), Pre-Emancipation (August 12th), Diwali Meeting (October 14th) and the big one that is looked forward to by horseracing fans, especially on the Corentyne Coast, the annual Boxing Day meeting on December 26.
