RECENTLY, I have been hearing allegations about Kaieteur News columnist Frederick Kissoon being involved in tax evasion. I want to make it clear that Frederick Kissoon is only victimized because of his role as a critic and journalist in autocratic Guyana. It is a disgrace of the Guyana Revenue Authority to single out Frederick Kissoon in making him pay property taxes and then have (former President) Bharrat Jagdeo make ridicule of Frederick Kissoon in public.
This is why the PPP/C Government shouldn’t have been elected into power in the first place.
Frederick Kissoon is not a tax evader.
