Son appeals to father to resume writing

I am the son of Mr. Krishna Nand Prasad, who commenced writing in 1973. He did some publications on his own and his pieces appeared from time to time in some newspapers. My father suddenly ceased writing. I have appealed to him to continue. Mrs. Janet Jagan encouraged him a lot and even used one of his children’s stories in her book  “The Lure of the Mermaid and other stories.”
His pen name in the Mirror newspaper was KNP (1973- 1991), while he wrote in the children’s column in the Mirror under his name.

My father is claiming that he feels his effort is in vain. He even indicated to me that he has destroyed all pieces he produced which were in his possession.

Mr. Editor, I have appealed to him to pick up the pen again after a long period of pen silence

He has gladly consented to continue. I wish him the best as he submits his work to the Chronicle and the Mirror.

By the way, some call him a poet. He does not believe that he is a high- quality poet. He just loves writing poetry and stories.
