A SECOND man has been charged with the December 6 gunpoint robbery committed on Fayann Lewis.
Bernard James (no address given) was also remanded to prison when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistarte Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday.
He was not required to plea to the indictable charge, which stated that on December 6, being armed with a gun, he robbed Lewis of a quantity of items valued $583,000.
Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, said around 08:45hrs the virtual complainant was inside her home and her door was open, when the accused, along with another man, went into the house held her at gunpoint and stole booty.
The prosecutor reminded that another man was recently charged with the same crime and he successfully objected to bail.
