…will also look at supposed APNU call for boycott of some businesses
A LIST of businesses is being circulated via social media and at other forums, purportedly meant as a call to have supporters of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) boycott the businesses. A source close to the collective private sector told the Guyana Chronicle that the business sector stakeholders are aware of the list and are expected to meet on Monday to assess the effect of the post elections disturbances on the business community.
Meanwhile, Roraima Group of Companies’ owner and Chief Executive Officer, Captain Gerry Gouveia, last evening, in an invited comment, stated that he has been in touch with APNU’s Joe Harmon who has made it clear that such a call has not come from the party’s leadership.
