A simple ceremony was hosted Thursday at the Head Office of the Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited, at Promenade Court, 155-156 New Market Street, Cummingsburg Georgetown, in which the Republic Bank’s Academic Achievement Awards were presented to this year’s top performing students at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) and the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE). Receiving the award for her outstanding achievement at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) was Ms. Anuradha Dev, and Mrs. Mala Persaud received the award from the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) on behalf of her daughter Kia Persaud, who is currently studying at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
