POLICE are still investigating but have not yet made any arrests in relation to the $5M robbery, at Foulis, East Coast Demerara, last Saturday night, Crime Chief Seelall Persaud reported yesterday. The crime was committed about 21:40hrs when businessman Cecil Gajadar, 70, and his wife were attacked by three armed men.
The victims were at their fuel station when the bandits held them at gunpoint, took them into the office, along with their security guard, before robbing them of their personal jewellery, as well.
