Two more testify at Gopaul murder case PI

TWO more witnesses gave evidence, on Thursday, when the preliminary inquiry (PI) in the Neesa Gopaul murder case continued before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. Police photographer Delicia Brown and Sergeant Caesar were called by Special Prosecutor Prithima Kissoon and they were cross-examined by Defence Counsel Vic Puran, after which the proceedings were adjourned to December 10.
The victim’s mother, Bibi Shareema Gopaul and her stepfather, Jarvis Small, are charged with unlawfully killing her.
The body of the deceased was found stuffed in a suitcase at Madewini, in the vicinity of Emerald Tower Resort, along the Soesdyke/Linden Highway and the case for the prosecution is that the former Queen’s College (QC) student was murdered between September 24 and October 2, 2010.
