ASHTON King (no address given), the defendant in a domestic case, was granted $15,000 bail yesterday. Before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell, he pleaded not guilty to unlawfully assaulting his reputed wife, Debra Douglas, on August 17, to cause her actual bodily harm.
Police Sergeant Neville Jeffers, prosecuting, told the Court the couple had a misunderstanding at a funeral parlour and King pushed Douglas.
King will make another court appearance on November 17.
