Hicken’s 6 win Tony’s Jewellery dominoes competition

THE experience and nerves of David Patterson sealed victory for his team in what was seemingly a one-sided dominoes match featuring Hicken’s 6, Austin’s 6 and Alli’s 6, which was played recently at the Everest Cricket Club pavilion. The event was the birth anniversary of International Six player Charles Dobson, and it was sponsored by Tony’s Jewellery of Alexander Village.
Austin’s 6 comprised Wayne Austin, Charles Dopson, Tyrone Blackman, Keith Maloney, Imtiaz Ali and Ovid Davis; Alli’s 6 players were Nigel Edwards, Edmund Sammy, Manniram Shew, Hilbert Ali, Orin Boston and Intikab Ali. Hicken’s 6 was made up of Colin Hicken, Navin Samaroo, David Patterson, Samuel Humphrey, Anthony St Kitts and Troy Alfred.
Hicken’s 6 reigned supreme with 75 games, Austin’s 6 finished second with 73 games and Alli’s 6 were third with 64 games, while Shew, Dopson and Alfred shared loves and Maloney and Humphrey with 15 games each were the top markers.
