EXTREME ROAD RAGE

Woman, 51, ‘punched man in the face for driving too slow’
DAILY MAIL – A 51-year-old woman who was driving behind a man she didn’t think was going fast enough, allegedly got out of her car at a red light and punched him in the face.

Cheryl Ann McCarthy from Hinsdale, Illinois in the United States has been charged with battery, after police said she began honking at a man who was driving in front of her and then took drastic action.

Deputy Police Chief, Mark Wodka said that when the two stopped at the intersection of Route 83 and Ogden Avenue, the woman exited her car and walked up to the man’s window.
When he rolled it down, she didn’t say a word but struck him in the chin with her fist.
“The man contacted us following the incident and we were able to make contact with the driver,” Deputy Wodka said. “She came down to our station on October 29 and was then arrested.
“This is an example of where it’s best to stay away from road rage and not become involved with the other vehicle. Road rage can lead to someone getting seriously injured.”
