CHANCELLOR of the Judiciary (ag) Court of Appeal, Carl Ashok Singh, will give the feature address at the 45th Convocation of the University of Guyana. The ceremony will be held on Saturday November 12, on the Turkeyen campus.
More than 1000 students are expected to graduate from the Faculties of Agriculture and Forestry, Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and the Schools of Education and Humanities and Earth and Environmental Sciences.
This year will mark the first time UG will be conferring Post Graduate Diplomas in Urban Planning, offered through the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences; Water Resource Management, offered through the Faculty of Technology, in collaboration with Mc Gill University; the Masters in Business Administration and Public Administration, offered through the Faculty of Social Sciences in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Learning, and the Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences.
