APNU gives press details of its countrywide campaign

OFFICIALS of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) yesterday updated the press on the coalition’s campaigns during a news conference at its Regent Street Headquarters.
Manager of Operations and Logistics for APNU, Ms Amna Ali, provided the update in the presence of presidential candidate David Granger and former police commissioner Winston Felix.
Ali said that, as was evident on Nominations Day last week, APNU’s supporters are enthusiastic and are working for the coalition’s victory.
She mentioned that the religious community participated in large numbers last Friday at the party’s prayer service held on the tarmac of the National Cultural Centre.
Moreover, Granger continued his visits to sections of Georgetown and at Moraikobai, in the Mahaicony River; and there will shortly be visits to Paramakatoi and other areas in that sub-region.
Ali also related that PNCR leader Robert Corbin visited different areas on the Corentyne.
