PHILIP Smith, 22, of Westminster, La Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara, died Friday night in a two-car collision which occurred at about 23:45hrs on the Goed Fortuin Public Road. He allegedly drove motor car PGG 60 out of a side street, onto the main road and into the path of motor car PHH 6692, driven by Guy Romain, 27, of Samaroo Dam, Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara.
Smith, Romain, and two other persons who were in Romain’s vehicle received injuries, and were taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital (WDRH), where Smith succumbed to his injuries. The others are receiving medical attention.
Police investigations are in progress.
