CLIVE Lloyd has been appointed to serve as a Co-opted Executive Committee Member of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB), a release said yesterday. When approached, the former Guyana and West Indies captain readily agreed to serve as an Executive Member and  the GCB is grateful to have him on board since his invaluable knowledge and experience will contribute tremendously to their developmental plans.
Lloyd currently chairs the International Cricket Council’s Cricket Committee and is also a Director of the West Indies Cricket Board.
The Guyana Cricket Board will continue to seek out resource persons to contribute to and develop a five-year developmental plan that seeks to return our cricket to its glory days.
