Digicel presents cars to Summer Promotions winners

DIGICEL (Guyana) Inc, on Tuesday afternoon, presented the three winners of its Summer Promotions, including a 15-year-old, with the keys to their brand new Suzuki Swift cars at Everest Cricket Ground, Camp Road, Georgetown. The recipients, Roxanne Greene of Week One; Natasha Rodney of Week Two and Ruth Zammet of Week Three, were all smiles as they received their prizes from the Digicel management team.
Speaking on behalf of the trio, Greene told the Guyana Chronicle that she is happy although she had prayed for a house instead.
She said it is the first time she has won a car and thanked God for it, as she pleasantly sipped wine with her relatives.
Greene also won herself $3M in cash, having successfully competed with the other two winners, over whom she gained victory in the competition.
Digicel Public Relations Manager, Ms. Shonnet Moore said the Summer Promotions began on July 7 and since July 22, every three weeks, three finalists were selected during the Swift Challenge car draw.
She explained that each finalist was tasked with putting together a team of three to complete the obstacle course, which included a mental challenge, the sand ramp and monkey swing.
Moore said, during the nine weeks Swift Challenge promotions, of sheer excitement of television shows, persons were gifted playbooks and 32 others were presented Blackberry torch cellular phones.

She maintained that Digicel always delivers on its promotions and Tuesday’s was as such.
Moore encouraged all patrons to look forward to their Christmas promotion, which will be introduced before the festive season.
Digicel customers qualified for this promotion by simply topping up with $500 or more to spell the word S-W-I-F-T. Every top-up of $500 or more earns the customer one letter. Post-paid customers are required to pay their most recent bill in full and one winner will be selected at the end of every three weeks for the Suzuki Swift.
