President Jagdeo tells huge crowd at Novar meeting
HUNDREDS of residents from communities including Bath, Bush Lot, Number 11, Branch Road and Airy Hall last Saturday gathered at Novar, Region Five for a community meeting held by the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) where they were told of the numerous developments that have taken place across the country, including in their Region. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Human Services and Social Security, Priya Manickchand, and included speakers such as President Bharrat Jagdeo, Presidential Candidate, Donald Ramotar, and Prime Ministerial Candidate, Samuel Hinds and Regional Chairman, Harrinarine Baldeo.
Development under the PPP/C Administration in Region 5 can be seen in the investments made in the education, health, housing and water, agriculture and drainage and irrigation sectors, which are aimed at improving the livelihoods of residents in the region and the country at large.
