PPP/C will win 75% of votes

BERBICE is the future for the economic growth in Guyana, and this is evident since the leadership in Berbice was changed in 2006, with numerous, huge projects in different sectors and some currently ongoing. We have seen a total transformation of Region 6, so let me commend the Regional Chairman, Mr. Z. Mustapha and his RDC councillors for working as a team to make Region 6 a better place for all Berbicians to live.
The numerous outreach and community meetings were very fruitful for this successful transformation.
Unfortunately, we have a few critics who continue to be blind to the realities. The AFC, which won two seats on the RDC in the 2006 regional election, did not represent the people who put them there.  Most of the time they were absent, so how can these people want change and want to represent people’s issues? They have two dumbos on television who are saying that they are representing people’s issues, but I want readers and the public to know that when you vote for AFC they are not representing you, so don’t waste your vote.
As a young person I want to urge young Berbicians to vote for the PPP/C and let progress continue and don’t be distracted.  My prediction after the Albion rally is that the PPP/C will win 75% of the votes in Berbice at the 2011 elections.
