CHRISTEL Patrice Lambert, a former Brickdam Secondary School and Queen’s College (QC) student, was admitted to practise at the local Bar last Thursday. The new lawyer, of Lot 70 Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown, hails from Port Kaituma, North West District and is the youngest sibling among seven children.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Guyana (UG) in 2009, then proceeded to the Hugh Wooding Law School, in Trinidad, where she secured the Certificate of Legal Education.
Ms. Lambert’s petition was presented by Attorney-at-law, Mr. Nigel Hughes before Justice Dawn Gregory-Barnes.
Now in the world’s oldest and noblest profession, Lambert pledged to do her best for the advancement of the administration of justice in Guyana and to uphold the highest ethical standards of the Bar, with justice and integrity as her watchwords throughout her practice as an attorney.
