OVER US$8M to repair two very important roads in Region 6 was a laudable step by the Government of Guyana. The contract was awarded to one by the name of Nauth’s Construction who was supposed to be a very efficient company to execute these types of projects.The work started on these two roads since around August last year and to date the work is crawling at a very slow rate. The work executed by this company so far on the West Canje road is very poor. I am pleading to you Mr. President; let us complete this work before elections.
