POLICE on Thursday arrested a female outgoing passenger at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) after they found a quantity of cocaine in her footwear.
A report said that at about 11:50hrs, ranks at the CJIA arrested a female American citizen who was an outgoing passenger after a total of 1 kg. 806 grams of cocaine was found in footwear among her luggage.
She is in police custody assisting with investigations.
