Visiting journalist from El Nacional newspaper of Venezuela, Armando Avellaneda yesterday paid a courtesy call on Assistant Editor of the Guyana Chronicle, Chamanlall Naipaul. During their discussions Mr. Avellaneda was apprised of the current election campaign, Guyana’s position on the border controversy and the legacy of President Bharrat Jagdeo.
