Home Affairs Minister takes the salute

MINISTER of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee, on Saturday took the salute outside his Brickdam office from members of the Guyana Prison Service who participated in a route march, part of activities for Guyana Prison Service Week observed from September 25 to October 1, 2011.
Standing with the minister as the officers paid him homage were Permanent Secretary in the Home Affairs Ministry, Ms. Angela Johnson; Director of Prisons, Dale Erskine; Deputy Director of Prisons, Malcolm Mc Andrew; and Officer –in-Charge of the Georgetown Prisons, Linden Cornette, as well as   members of the visiting delegation from the Jamaica Prison Service and Cayman Islands Prison Service.
The visiting prison officers were here to celebrate the occasion with their local counterparts.
