NOW that the season is here, everyone is having a say. And are they vociferous! The decibels are sometimes deafening. Not only are they saying, but doing. There is a seemingly overflow of eagerness to decorate and to ensure that all is in place. The related cleaning, fixing and preciseness make some, almost willingly despite noticeable sigh of exhaustion in increased decibels, expressing the familiar phrase, “not again”!
If you thought it was Christmas being referred to, then you are wrong. So just like the numerous unsuccessful raffle ticket holders and lotto players, yell, “not again”. You must know that the Elections season is here. The PPP/C has rallied off their campaign in Albion. Thousand flocked the venue despite the sweltering heat. And were they vociferous! They know that election time is here. In high decibels, they let Bharrat and Donald and other Party Leaders know how much they are loved.
Not to be outdone, those on the platform let the thousands know how much they are cared for. It was like a tennis match of affection in high decibels back and forth from stage to crowd.
This is a clear indication that the PPP/C remains extremely popular. The affectionate screams of those in attendance, which included thousands of young people, have caused the Opposition to challenge Jamaican, Usain Bolt. One difference though; Bolt runs gracefully, the Opposition is running scared.
Their low-decibel propulsion in fright has caused them to put both of their hands up. By the way, that’s the symbol of the main Opposition, APNU; two hands up! A surrender? Maybe. That’s why they haven’t launched a campaign. No different from the AFC. Apparently the AFC “key” is jammed in the lock. That is why the supporters of these two RSGs, Running Scared Groups, may have gotten the season wrong. Just like in 2006, they are saying, “not again”, the supporters that is!
If they want to experience the election season, then they are invited to Kitty on Sunday, October 09. The rally continues there. The decibels will be even higher. That will make David and Khemraj run faster and more scared. This may cause Usains’ smile to disappear and get scared. So, it’s one scared Jamaican and two scared Guyanese. One more and they will have a relay team! Hold. The fourth member is exhibiting his decibels. It’s CN! His decibels have made him noticeably vertically challenged.
At the time of penning this, he was pontificating on his TV. By the time you read this, his decibels will be muted since his channel will be off air. Like typical CN, he was running scared on TV looking for sympathy. No one turned up. Not even Robert or Freddie or Glenn and the other two members of their pontificating team. They stayed away. They know that the channel was wrong. CN knows that too. Yet he is trying to make an issue about the decision.
According to him, his wrong must go unsanctioned. For him the crime must not have a penalty. Advocacy for lawlessness? It was blatant yesterday. But, that’s CN for you; must have it his way. The decibels were high in his studio yesterday. When he read the suspension letter, he yelled, “not again”. Not to be outdone, his staff drowned his yell with their own, “NOT AGAIN”. Look for CN bringing up the last leg in the relay and Bolt praying not to false start. If he does, he will also scream, “not again”!
