DEXTER Marshall was yesterday committed to stand trial in the High Court for the murder of Mark Caesar called ‘Lil Mark’ on October 12, 2010. Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry signed the committal warrant after finding sufficient evidence was made out against the accused.
Marshall, who maintained his innocence when asked by the magistrate if he had anything to say, was represented by Defence Counsel Hukumchand.
Marshall (no address given) is the brother of Steve Jupiter who was gunned down in company with his common-law and two other men and a child on September 4, 2010, in Cummings Lodge.
Caesar was standing alone at the corner of Broad and Adelaide Streets, Charlestown when he was fatally shot. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital and died while receiving treatment.
