Mr. Vegas, Natural Black ready to perform at Guinness Greatest experience!

AS the world celebrates ‘Guinness Day’ which is dedicated to the inventor of the famed Stout, Arthur Guinness, in Guyana, Jamaican Dancehall icon ‘Mr. Vegas, along with world renown reggae artiste ‘Natural Black’ have both promised an exciting show, tomorrow at the GNS Ground on Carifesta Avenue. Local brewers Banks DIH Limited have organized the event, geared at showing appreciation to 225 years of existence of the Guinness, and it’s on that note that the two artistes said that the Guyanese public would be in for a treat.
“This is going to be a fantastic show,” exclaimed Mr. Vegas, who had his thoughts echoed by Natural Black. “We are planning to give the Guyanese something to remember because, at least I was here before and every time I come, I always get the same welcome and good treatment from the Guyanese people, that’s why I love Guyana,” said Mr. Vegas.
For Natural Black, its “just another good performance the people can expect and since we celebrating Guinness Day it will be even more special. I had a few shows here recently, but they are all different, cause for me, every show it’s a rehearsal for the other one and its more work for the artiste, so, like I said, a good show is expected”.
The Guinness brewed by Banks DIH is said to be ranked among the top ten brewed stout from  50 countries around the world and is the second largest distributors in terms of sales only to Jamaica in the Caribbean.
Bank DIH’s Marketing Executive Carlton Joao, said that the support for the brand has been extraordinary and took the time to thank “all the people of Guyana who have been supporting Guinness over the years. This is how we show some appreciation to you guys and we want you all to enjoy it”.
According to Guinness Brand Manager at the company, Lee Baptist, they have planned a series of events where the public can win special prizes, including
free Guinness and said that “tomorrow (tonight), we have an even bigger surprise for the people, but they will have to come to the show to know what it is.”Last evening, a concert was aired live on five television stations in Guyana from Kingston Jamaica, where, Assassin, I-Octane and KES Band thrilled thousands of spectators and it was asked by Mr. Vegas, “why Guyana did had that live show? I think people need to see more of how much Guyanese people really support music and these shows, so maybe next year or the next event, they can think about it”.
Guinness is a popular Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate, Dublin. It is directly descended from the porter style that originated in London in the early 18th century and is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries and available in over 100 where 1.8 billion pints are sold annually.
