THE owner of ‘Fix It’ electronic workshop, Quincy Braithwaite, 25, of Lot 116 Middle Road La Penitence, Georgetown, has been charged with receiving stolen articles. He appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday and pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stated that, last February 10, he received one equalizer, valued $18,000, one music box worth $25,000 and one jack with a value of $2,500, all belonging to Keith Edwards, knowing them to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained.
Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, had no objection to it and the defendant was granted $30,000 bail until November 16.
