IT SEEMS as though Mr. Sasenarine Singh is really on the propaganda trail. He does in abundance what he accuses others of doing.
I get the impression that he is bitter and frustrated. The feeling of bitterness may need a spiritual purgation, but I have my doubts regarding his frustration.
For me, this frustration has a dangerous genesis. I proffer that the angst of Mr. Singh is rooted in the fact that he is ‘mad’ that the PPP/C are on top of things. They are moving ahead with their plans, and the citizens are responding positively. So what does he, Mr. Singh, try to do? A number of useless things.
First, Sasenarine opines that he and his cohorts will change Guyana for the better, once the people give the AFC that one chance to show the PPP and the PNC how to really set up a Government.
Since what he has seen from the AFC meetings in the PPP heartland in Berbice, and since he is convinced that a big change is coming to Guyana, then he should plan. Clearly adumbrated in his bold assertion is the fact that PPP/C will go out of office, and that Khemraj Ramjattan’s AFC will take over. All I now ask is that the planning really begin.
My second issue with Sasenarine is that he seems oblivious to his surroundings and the happenings in Guyana. He slights President Jagdeo, and demeans Presidential Candidate, Donald Ramotar. He describes them as clueless. Yet, what he fails to mention are their overwhelming support and popularity.
The PPP/C has been able to bridge the racial divide, incorporate the indigenous peoples of Guyana, invest in education, revamp medicare, put in place necessary infrastructure, and provide the base for home ownership, and the list goes on.
Either Sasenairine is blind, or he is a denier. The evidence is overwhelming. So the point about the VAT and tax payers’ money is simply useless.
The next thing that Sasenarine does is to eulogize the AFC Presidential Candidate, Khemraj Ramjattan. The way he does it is simply too fulsome. In fact, it is nauseating. I thought the man being written about was the great Mahatma Gandhi. Khemraj Ramjattan did not have his greedy ways with the PPP/C, and this explains why he is bitter.
Also, Ramjattan has a sordid professional past. In fact, he was even reprimanded by the PPP for his association with certain elements. So ‘sitting on the floor’, and ‘riding a horse’ are not acts of humility; they are signs of stupidity. They will never ever move the people, especially those in Berbice.
I call to Sasenarine’s attention that Freddie Kissoon tried the same tactics, but they did not work. He tried to incite the Berbicians to be anti-Jagdeo and anti-PPP/C, and it simply backfired (Just revisit the Babu John incident).
I close by asking that Bro. Sase and his AFC fraternity consider this: If the Guyanese populace are stupid and blind, then that is their business. If they want happiness and prosperity and not politics and philosophy, then so be it.
I gather that they are getting a haven, and with it intelligence and sight. So, Sasenarine and the AFC are again sore losers.
