GUYANA Football Federation (GFF) vice-president Franklin Wilson is now acting president of that organisation following FIFA’s suspension of Colin Klass.
General Secretary Noel Adonis notified Wilson and GFF affiliates on Friday that he is now acting as president of the GFF.
GFF general secretary Noel Adonis letter reads: Following the provisional suspension of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) president Colin Klass from taking part in any football-related activities (administrative, sports, or other related activity), Mr Franklin Wilson, vice-president of the GFF, has been elevated to the post of Acting President of the GFF with immediate effect in accordance with the provisions of Article 37.5 of the GFF Constitution.”
