I AM shocked. In fact, very shocked. How is it that Freddie Kissoon can go to the ‘crab march’, and not expect to get mud. I mean, the man is Guyana’s unparalleled ‘cuss bird’, and yet he expects tolerance and acceptance. I was flabbergasted first, with his attack on Neil Kumar. When the expected riposte came, he took offence. His ensuing response, in the July 31, 2011 edition of Kaieteur News further reveals the man. He likes to ‘cuss’ but cannot take a ‘cussing.’ Let me parse that jocular, dilettante letter.
Freddie Kissoon opines that the missive from Neil Kumar was an abusive and personal attack on him. Freddie is forgetting that he started the verbal assault, and then Neil Kumar retorted. So what Freddie does, in wanting to have the last ‘cuss,’ is to continue assault.
Freddie now says that the biggest fool in the world is Neil Kumar, because he thinks that his scurrilous pen will be a deterrent to him (Freddie).
The now piqued Freddie even vents his spleen on the late Dr. Cheddi Jagan, since the late founding PPP leader had to be a faulty politician, to appoint one like Kumar as the Sports Director of this country. Do you see what I mean?
This is tantamount to school boys in fights, ‘cussing down’ one another’s mothers. Freddie arrogates too much responsibility and authority to himself. According to him, Neil Kumar knew nothing then, and now, still knows nothing of sports in Guyana.
How presumptuous indeed and personally insulting can one get? So, Freddie Kissoon alone must make pronouncement? I do not think so. For me, Freddie Kissoon is a bonafide quack when it comes to political savvy, intellectual acumen and perspicacity. I honestly feel convinced that he studied in his supposed field of expertise by virtue of default.
Take now a second example: Freddie Kissoon, in his arrogance, says that unfortunately, Kumar’s limitation does not allow him to pursue intellectual understanding of arguments. Wow! And Wow! In Guyana, if there is one person who is guilty of evincing non-academia, it is Freddie Kissoon. Freddie was repeatedly debunked and embarrassed by Davenand Bhagwan, Vishnu Bisram, Ravi Dev, etc.
So what does that make him? It makes him exactly that-a scholar manquй. One of the things that bother Freddie Kissoon is that he does not attract intellectual debate. He craves a kind of forlorn and bereft recognition. Alas! This will never come. He is too pesky and petulant, and his compositions are too fraught with personal attacks.
Finally Freddie, why must you await to see how the sporting bodies of Guyana respond to Kumar’s letter in which the language is sickening, dirty, and morally filthy (according to you).
Mr. Kumar gave you a dose of your own faeces. He took yours, so just take his. Also consider the fact that Neil Kumar is not an object of odium. 
Very few like you; they simply ignore or tolerate you. You are not worth it. This bothers you too, but you have to live with it. And yes, ‘The National Sports Commission is concerned with high standards and professionalism’. And even though you think that “Kumar’s response has everything in it except high standards and professionalism”, what does your writing have?
