THE Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) of Guyana said it is pleased to join with all Guyanese in “extending Ramadhan Mubarak to our Muslim brothers and sisters as we commence this period of fasting, extra prayers and engage in Ibaadah.” According to the IAC, it is also appropriate to reflect on the lessons in constancy and sincerity embodied in the observance of this blessed month.

“The IAC therefore urges all Guyanese to recognize the lessons being undertaken by our Muslim brothers and sisters during this month and pray that, with steadfastness and dedication, Guyana and humanity at large will benefit accordingly,” the Committee said in a statement.
