GOVERNMENT, through the Region 2 administration, has donated a 15 HP outboard engine to the St Monica Village Council in the upper Pomeroon River, to boost the delivery of health care to residents living along the banks of the river in the remote district.
Region Two Chairman Ali Baksh, who presented the engine, said government is working to provide every Guyanese across the country with free health care services.
Toshoa of St Moncia, Ms. Lorna Williams, thanked the government for the engine.
