The APNU leader got serious when he described the launch of the partnership as the ‘birthday’ of new politics in Guyana, suggesting that the incumbent PPP/C is running the nation as if it is a “plantation.”
For David Granger to say this, everyone at that gathering must know by now what he is telling the masses in Guyana.
Granger is literally saying to all Guyanese that since their colonial white masters left Guyana that the now Indian-led Government are their slave masters.
What Granger forgot to remember and did not mention to all Guyanese is that, since the white colonial slave masters left it was two African leaders, Burnham & Hoyte, who replaced their white colonial slave masters.
How will Granger and APNU take this kind of language all across Guyana and not be ready to explain what they mean by the PPP/C running the nation as if it is a plantation?
Or will Granger and APNU pander to one crowd and then go say something else to another?
I wonder how those Indians in APNU felt when the word “Plantation” was mentioned.
All Guyanese are urged to listen with very keen ears to what comes from the mouths of PNC top brass now masquerading as APNU.
In their speeches you will sure hear of “slo fiah and mo fiah” and “make the country ungovernable”.
