BANKS DIH Limited has boosted its distribution network with the purchase of eight new trucks valued at close to G$60M. The trucks were purchased in Japan through Southern Sales of Trinidad and Tobago, while the bodies were fabricated by SMI Industries in the Twin- island Republic, and according to Mr. Shabir Hussein, Building, Transport and Power Generation Executive, the vehicles are currently being branded and will be in operation in a month’s time.
Hussein said the additional vehicles will boost the current fleet in a significant way, and tie in with the Company’s capital programme for this year.
