THE Sanatan Vaidic Dharma Pandits’ Sabha, in Region Three held a seminar on July 4, 2011 at the Leonora Secondary School. This was the first seminar of a series to come from this minute and most recently formed Hindu organisation in Region Three. In fact it was coincidently held on the first anniversary of the Sabha and saw a massive number of Hindus attending. Approximately 250 persons attended. The topics that were dealt with were both social and Hindu religious. They included marriage, alcoholism, suicides, Hindu scriptures, education and its roles, sex—the Hindu view, parental supervision and discipline of children, languages, etc. These topics were ideally seen to have drawn the absolute attention of the Hindus present. Furthermore, after the presentations were made, devotees present were given a chance to make their remarks and comments of which were all in thanks to the Sabha to arrange such an activity and most of them (devotees) expressed the interest to have more activities of this nature. On such note, Hindu communities can look forward for more activities of this nature from the Sabha.
The presentations will soon be available on the Sabha’s blog: http://sanaatan-vaidic-dharma.blogspot.com.
Hindu seminar a great success
