THE People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) wishes to advise its followers on Facebook that its page has been hacked sometime yesterday morning. “Our IT Technicians are currently working to recover from the cyber attack and we wish to apologize to our many followers who use this as a medium to interact with the PPP/C and also as a source of information regarding the activities of the party,” the PPP/C said in a statement yesterday.

“Already measures have been put in place to guard against similar attacks to other PPP/C sites on the internet,” the party stated.

While the party has not ascertained who exactly is responsible for this intrusion, it wishes to express its strong condemnation against such actions.
