A post mortem performed yesterday on the body of Terry Wayne Jack of Orealla, Corentyne River, by Dr. V. Brijmohan, revealed the cause of death as hemorrhage and shock due to gunshot injury. Jack was shot while at the Orealla Police Outpost Monday last.
A police officer was placed under close arrest following the shooting on Monday during a drinking spree at the outpost.
Reports say Jack was shot in the chest as some ranks and two women were drinking.
It is reported that Jack was engaged in a friendly conversation with one of the young women when an  officer became enraged and shot and killed his colleague.
