Wynn hat-trick downs Guyana

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, (CMC) – Overseas based Blair Wynn punched a hat-trick as the senior Trinidad and Tobago squad hammered hapless Guyana 7-0 in the first of a three-match series at the National Hockey Centre here Friday night. Wynn, who is plies her trade in Belgium, was joined in the goal spree by Arielle du Quesnay who scored a brace, while Curlyne Wynn and Minday Charles were also on target.
The hat-trick was the second for Wynn in three matches against the visitors after she achieved the feat in a 9-0 triumph last month.
Both teams were expected to meet again on Saturday with the final match taking place on Sunday at the same venue.
T&T are using the matches as part of their preparation for the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico in October where they will play alongside Argentina, Barbados and Canada in Group A.
