Tucville, Imperial College  and CSS record victories
TUCVILLE Secondary, Imperial College (IC) and Charlestown Secondary School (CSS) all found themselves in winners’ row on Monday afternoon, when action in the inaugural Digicel-sponsored nationwide Inter-secondary school football tournament continued.
Thanks to Jeguan Vanqueepon’s double in the 4th and 28th minutes, Tucville defeated St John’s College 4-0, with Randy Langhorne and Sean Hugh being the other goalscorers.
CSS created an upset when they defeated the much-fancied St Mary’s Secondary 3-1, thanks to Alpha McPherson’s double scored in the 5th and 9th minutes while Shawn Morrison got the other in the 55th minute. The goalscorer’s name for St Mary’s was not available.
In the other match of the day played in the Georgetown zone, Imperial College created an upset as they got past North Georgetown Secondary 1-0, with Renwick Chichester finding the back of the net for his team.
