StilALTHOUGH National Service ended so long ago, I am still terrified of it. I still have bad dreams that if the PNC wins this election that they will take our children and send them in the bush if they want to graduate from UG.
Imagine that the PNC still praises the National Service that sent young girls in the bush for long periods of time. Many of these girls were sexually abused and many of them are still suffering and having nightmares. One famous girl committed suicide but I can’t remember her name. I hope another reader can help us recall her name.
I am sure I heard Granger say that he wants the ex-GDF to look after the ballot box on election day, but Granger should know that those GDF from his days did what they did because they were forced by the PNC.
I also think I heard the PNC say that they will bring back National Service. That alone will make me vote against them. My wife started to cry when I told her that they might bring back National Service. She said next thing – ‘they gon want bring back Hamilton Green’.
