COLIN Cadogan, a Canada based Guyanese temporarily resident at Lot 197 Laing Avenue, Georgetown, has been charged with manslaughter.
Before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, it was alleged that on June 9, he unlawfully killed Shawn McLean.
Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, had no objection to bail but at his request, the magistrate ordered the accused to surrender his passport, which he did immediately, prior to lodging $400,000 surety.
The case was then transferred to another court for June 21.
