KERON Taylor and Raul Audain (no addresses given) were remanded to prison yesterday following the find of an illegal gun and ammunition on June 13.
The defendants appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded not guilty to being in possession of a Taurus Magnum revolver and seven .32 rounds, at Eccles, East Bank Demerara, without licences.
Police Sergeant Vishnu Hunte, prosecuting, said ranks on patrol stopped hire car HB 1390 and saw Taylor handing the weapon to Audain.
The case was transferred to Providence Court, also on East Bank Demerara, for today.
