THE City Council, year after year, shows no sign of improvement and it really is a sad state of affairs and because of this, I believe that now, more than ever, we need to have local government elections held as soon as possible. After hearing about the problems at City Hall, yet again on the news, I am compelled to write out of frustration with the poor service and glaring incompetency of the city council. I feel that if nothing can be done immediately then the authorities should look at establishing an Interim Management Committee to take care of the affairs of City Hall until local government elections can be held.
