Bus drivers need to be more disciplined

I am living on the Corentyne. I travel a little but I read a lot. One day I came from Georgetown going to New Amsterdam because I had to make a stop in New Amsterdam. The Georgetown bus took me to Rosignol Stelling to join the New Amsterdam bus. The buses at Rosignol were parked orderly. The bus that was loading had two passengers, so I went over to a shop to buy a soft drink. While standing and waiting to be served, there was a set of men at a table with a bottle of rum, drink and water, which I later learnt were Number 56 route bus drivers.
I then heard one of the men say, “hi look the president drive in, if the man see you guys drinking he is going to quarrel.” One said, “to hell is he, he think he owns us, me na he son.”
A well dressed man came over and said, “man you all stop this drinking it does not look good” and then walked back to the buses. One of them said, “me don, da man gon call the traffic chief on us and that the president is a very serious man who wants discipline within the (56) zone.”
I stood about 20 minutes there and heard them planning how to get rid of him because he looks into everything. We need to have discipline with all the minibuses and to my knowledge, this man is doing a good job.
