SHERWIN Trotman, (no address given) was yesterday remanded to prison by Magistrate Susanna Lovell on charges of robbery under arms and robbery with aggravation.
The indictable offence stated that on May 4, armed with a gun, he robbed Padminie Persaud of two gold and diamond rings, and other articles all valued at $1.3M. Also on February 14, together with another person, he robbed Seleena Ahmad of a quantity of items valued at $4.7M.
The defendant told the court that he was never picked out at an identification parade and that he has no knowledge of the offence.
Trotman was remanded and will return to court on May 23.
