ANDRE King (no address given) was granted $10,000 bail yesterday, on condition that he removes from his home in which he is alleged to have unlawfully assaulted his wife, Yonette King.
That was after he pleaded not guilty to the April 30 charge, before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at Vreed-en-Hoop Court, West Coast Demerara.
The conditionality was imposed at the insistence of Police Sergeant Sherwin Matthews, prosecuting, prior to the case being transferred to Wales Court, West Bank Demerara, for May 16.
