Stop the squatting problem now

LET’s sit back and watch how political vultures will swarm in for the kill on the fire that gutted the Kingston sore-eye dilapidated building.
As one of  (Stabroek News) SN blogger pointed out that those who resided there, are nothing but freeloading squatters.
Another of SN blogger asked how could they have been homeless when in fact that was not their home.
I am in total agreement with those bloggers for the simple fact based on what the person who was placed in charge of that building said.
Once any building is condemned and up for demolition it must be done immediately and all illegal residents must be forced to get out.
I have lived long enough to see bullies take over buildings where they move in entire families and remain there for years without permission from the owners.
I have seen one owner of a house taken over by bullies beaten to pulp and went away and never came back to his home.
I have seen one man rent a place and open a ‘salt goods store’ and never paid rent for years to the owner despite court action taken against this PNC big man.
There are those who will cry to the top of their lungs that government does not care for these people.
I would ask, if people do not care for themselves how can they expect anyone else to care for them?
They have no decency and no dignity, no shame and no pride to live like that and to bring children into this world subjecting them to the wicked deeds of adults.
Those in authority and who are in charge must now wake up to reality of life and take drastic actions to make this plague go away once and for all.
They were lucky to get away without loss of life and limbs because that very building could have easily come crashing down fearing the worst.
These are not only illegal squatters but down-right bullies as well and a stop must be put to this once and for all by those in authority.
